Rihanna’s Savage X Fenty Features Vivian Wilson in New Campaign

Everything’s coming up roses for Vivian Wilson.

The 21-year-old transgender model and estranged daughter of anti-trans billionaire Elon Musk is officially one of the faces of Savage X Fenty’s 2026 Valentine’s Day collection, marking her most high-profile fashion campaign to date.

Last week, the Rihanna-founded lingerie brand unveiled the first images from its new campaign, titled “Love So Savage: A Modern Ode to Aphrodite.” The myth-inspired rollout features Rihanna herself embodying the Greek goddess of love, alongside Wilson, actress Lovie Simone, and fellow model Emma Arletta.

The message is clear: sensuality, power, and beauty on everyone’s terms.

A Campaign Rooted in Inclusion

According to People, the campaign also includes actor Michael Cooper Jr., who appears in a promotional video posted to Savage X Fenty’s Instagram account earlier this week, chatting with Simone about love, vulnerability, and self-expression.

As reported by U.K. LGBTQ+ outlet Scene Mag, Savage X Fenty’s 2026 Valentine’s collection offers lingerie and loungewear designed for all body types, with sizes ranging from XXS to 4XL a continued commitment to the brand’s long-standing inclusivity ethos.

Wilson appears in the campaign wearing the Sinful Rose Printed Lace Balconette bra, styled with a matching skirt and bold red tights a look that balances classic romance with unmistakable confidence.

Vivian Wilson’s Rapid Rise in Fashion

While this may be her most visible campaign yet, Wilson is no newcomer to the modeling world.

Over the past year, she has steadily built an impressive résumé, walking runways for designers including Chrishabana, Prabal Gurung, and Alexis Bittar, according to The Cut. Each appearance has further cemented her reputation as a rising talent one whose presence challenges traditional beauty norms while expanding representation for trans women in high fashion.

Her Savage X Fenty debut signals something even bigger: mainstream fashion embracing trans models not as novelties, but as central figures in major global campaigns.

A Complicated and Public Family Divide

Despite her growing success, Wilson is perhaps best known in the public eye for her outspoken estrangement from her father, Elon Musk.

Musk has repeatedly spoken about Wilson in interviews and on social media, often in deeply controversial ways. He has claimed he was “tricked” into consenting to her gender-affirming care and has framed her transition as the catalyst for his crusade against what he calls the “woke mind virus.”

In a widely criticized 2024 interview with right-wing commentator Jordan Peterson, Musk said Wilson had been “killed by the woke mind virus.” In a December 2025 post on X, he went further, describing her as suffering from a “tragic mental illness.” He has also consistently deadnamed and misgendered her publicly.

Wilson Speaks for Herself

Wilson, meanwhile, has not stayed silent.

She has described Musk as “cold,” “uncaring,” “very quick to anger,” and a largely absent parental figure. She has also made it clear that she has been financially independent from him since coming out as transgender in 2020 a detail that directly contradicts narratives Musk has attempted to construct around their relationship.

Rather than shrinking under scrutiny, Wilson has used her growing platform to assert her identity, boundaries, and autonomy on her own terms.

A Moment Bigger Than Fashion

Wilson’s inclusion in Savage X Fenty’s Valentine’s campaign feels symbolic.

In a cultural moment where trans lives are increasingly politicized, her presence in a globally recognized, sex-positive fashion campaign is a reminder that trans joy, beauty, and success exist loudly and unapologetically.

And while her father continues to make headlines for his rhetoric, Wilson is making her own walking runways, starring in campaigns, and defining herself far beyond the shadow of his name.
